Pilate is a Saint according to many churches. Which is funny, ssadiqim/saints are supposed to embody God's attributes of mercy. If Pilate was merciful he could've saved Jesus' life by not allowing the crowd to harm him. But as it stands, its some weird story about suicide by cop
