>>508360439Clearly he's got some agenda. I don't know what it is but the 'principles' argument doesn't hold up.
Trump has a good sense for when someone isn't on the level with him and he figured that out with Massie early on.
There's also some talk about a new right wing party getting formed, Musk was suggesting it a while ago and Massie was immediately saying he'd join it.
>>508360805>Israel nukesI would have opposed that at the time too. That doesn't make me want Iran to have them.
>Also what's your assumption here? That with a nuke, Iran would send it flying towards America? Do you know how stupid that is? Do you know how quickly all of Iran would be turned into glass if that happened? You're giving Iran far too much credit.
Let's observe the facts.
Trump gave Iran 60 days to make a deal with him. He bent over backwards for this, it cost him a lot of political capital, he was under pressure from Israel, a lot of people were saying it was a bad idea. He tried his best to negotiate with Iran in good faith with Witkoff. Witkoff is not a good choice by the way, he's a real estate guy who has no experience in politics.
The point I'm making is Iran had a golden opportunity. They had the easiest chance in years to make a new nuclear deal.
What did they do?
They dragged out negotiations forever, clearly with zero intention of ever making a deal. All through that 60 days they were enriching Uranium.
Then on day 61 Israel struck them.
Trump, still trying to take the diplomatic route, didn't immediately join in. He gave them another chance to negotiate with him. Trump doesn't want war.
And they rejected that too.
What does this tell you?
Iran views kindness and good faith negotiation as a weakness to be exploited.
And now they're in a much worse position than ever before.
So in short, yes they're stupid and might fire a nuke. Again, when someone says 'we want to kill you' you should take them seriously instead of trying to reinterpret their words.
