I mean, the US had the F16, so the Russians had the MIG-whatever. Maybe one was marginally better than the other. I don’t know, but they’re basically on par. The F22 comes out and the Chinese release the J-20 or whatever they have. And there’s probably a Russian one. Again, these keys are pretty much analogous to one another.
B2’s foreign counterpart? Doesn’t exist. And the thing is, everyone knows it’s possible. It’s not like they’re setting out to accomplish a goal that might not even be in the realm of possibility. They all know the B2 is real, but supposedly they haven’t been able to replicate it in 35+ years.
