I’m generally 100% in supportive the free flow of information, but it did seem like video recording these missiles coming down and then publishing them online was sort of spotting for the Iranian missile batteries. It reminds me about how in WW2 the American civilians were taught that the allied bombing raids were precise strikes on military targets, when in reality the militaries lacked the tech for such precise targeting and the raids were indiscriminate bombing of civilians that flattened entire cities. Are this missile strikes really aimed at military targets or are they aimed at the whole population? And are they actually precise enough to only hit military targets?

It would take 5 years + to bring even one back online, and this only after you conquer the country which would take an additional months to years.

Iran, if it goes full doomsday, can starve to death a billion + people and setback more than half the world to pre 1940's technology. The only difference if it gets nukes versus if it doesn't is that it can use nukes to target a countries destruction rather than indiscriminate slaughter, and make it easier to do the above with greater payload yield of its missiles.

There is a reason Iran went full ballistic missile technology. Its not to take out Israel. Its not to randomly hit american military bases. Its to burn down the global oil trade if it goes out. With the US now a petroleum exporter, I think the policy makers have weighed the cost/benefit of taking out Iran versus before and the ratio may be tipping toward destruction.
