#1 pol is the most popular board on the site
#2 therefore pol is the most important board
#3 therefore any requests for a board, rule change, or other 4chan related action which are made on any other board are likely to go without being seen, let alone answered to
#4: how a website is used and the effects it has on its users alters their behavior and therefore political outcomes
As a consequence, I make this thread here. it is a /meta/ thread about 4chan itself, but with political implications.
I request the following changes be made to 4chan:
A: all boards obtain postID indicators and geoflags. All memeflags are eliminated and no geoflag can be hidden. All posts are geoflagged, all replies by same ID are thusly marked.
users who post via a vpn must have a 4chan plus pass. Their geoflag is replaced with a VIP flag.
users may not reply to a thread from the catalog- they must open the thread first. Replies return the user to the thread.
The "name" field is no longer used on 4chan.
the "subject" field is only shown when making threads.
saging and nonoko options are deprecated and replaced with a checkbox that is automatically checked marked "Bump" next to "post". Unchecking it essentially sages the reply.
The following new rules are instituted:
Israeli users are not allowed to post on /pol/ on saturday.
The "post" button is disabled. However, this is a client-side only check. The user can override it by altering the web page source code.
The following new boards are instituted:
SFW /commonwealth/- only former and current british commonwealth nations, including the USA, can post on this board.
SFW /mil/ - current military matters, discussions by military for military, new military hardware. overlaps with /k/ and /pol/.
NSFW /debate/ - a board with a 10k character limit for threads which does not allow images, where users can post manifestos, debate extensively, and express their opinions.
Thanks for reading
