You need to make about $100k a year to be lower middle class in Canada. That's having a couple kids, living in an older detached house that needs some fixing and having vehicles.

The problem is nobody knows how to tame the machines.
Well the general public. The people in charge are using the machines to tame and herd the general public.

All the grocery stores can't collude together to price fix. All the rental landlord companies can't collude together to price fix. So what they instead do is outsource their issue to a 3rd party that runs a computer algorithm based off location etc to price fix wagies out of being able to climb up the ladder.

Then, if the company gets punished for price fixing they'll just hire another LLC running a modified version of the same code thats price fixing everyone into hell.

I'm a bit of a retard so I'm not sure if the bunkers prevent it but imagine a reset on everything with an EMP. One could wish for a solar flare.

What? I think you're mixing up unadjusted pre inflation figures for inflation adjusted ones. $62k was solid household income for the year 2000 in almost all areas of the country but that's $62k unadjusted. If you go based on strict inflation and not accounting for all other forms of lost purchasing power $62k in 2000 is almost $120k today.

My point was 50kausd in 2000 was $30k which in my economic frame of reference may have been decent for a single person but at the time was far from comfortable to support a family on unless, again, you were raising a family in an extremely low cost of living rural area.

In many areas (some parts of boston, seattle, san fran, silicon valley, etc) 100k is poorfag "scraping by" levels. Enough to rent an apartment by yourself and own a 6 year old economy car, but you aren't saving much every month.

Nar im looking at it differntly.

Im saying $50k was good in Aus in 2000, and it happened to be 38% above the average
So to find a US equivalent, for the same time i just times your 2000 average of $45,000 by 1.38 = $62,000. Which was also reportedly comfy.

Just shows how worthless money has become, and how expensive everything is now.

To have a 3x house price to income now, you would need to be earning $333,000 to be in the SAME situation a fag on $50,000 was in 2000.

Why are you even pretending like you have a wife and kids, you gay queer? Only faggots live in cities and accept paying half of their salary for 600 square feet of room. You know what I remember? When slide posts were fucking good and not this pathetic golemic shit.

It is disengenous to use the median rental price when $50k is not the median income.
Median household income in Brisbane is over $100k a year.
Median full time salaried income in Australia is over $90k a year.
I earn $70k a year (before tax) as an unskilled construction labourer.
Rent in Australia is still fucked, but you don't have to rent a multi bedroom home as a single guy on minimum wage living in Brisbane. You can rent a one bedroom apartment, or if that is still too expensive for you (which it might be to be fair), you can get a two bedroom apartment with a flatmate for $300 a week each or even less.

Inflation, price-gouging, and spoiled rich cunts have fucked so much shit up. There is a fine line between someone making $80K a year and having student loan debt and being a rent slave and someone making $50K a year and going on vacation every year with their family.

Nigger, the young guys in the third world country of my girlfriend literally have much better lives than us American men do. This place is living hell compared to there. Rent there is only like $120 per month for a studio apartment and that would be like only 40% of the minimum wage there, and the median salary there is double. You could literally go out to eat every day at a little restaurant on their minimum wage with a studio apartment. Now, of course, le iPhones are much more expensive there, but they can survive and have fun. Not here.

Ignore that guy, he's an idiot.

Averages are very distortionary. The average probably isn't going to support a family.

Year 2000 USD/AUD exchange rage: 0.58 (AUD was historically low at that time).

Year 2000 average weekly male full-time earnings in the USA: US$663.82 (from BLS)
Year 2000 average weekly male full-time earnings in Australia: US$518.75 (AU$894.40) (from ABS)

US per annum: US$34518
AU per annum: US$26975

Also consider effective tax rates on those amounts:
USA: 12.4%
AU: 20.3%

Plus everything costs a lot more in Australia.

Work hard for it.

Remember the song?
She works hard for the money.
Work hard for the money.
Working hard is the meaning of life,, bro.

If you do not work hard , you will not be exploited enough.
And you will not be worth it enough for the economy growth and for the well being of the rich ruling capitalist class.

No, Europeans are much richer than the average American is.

The thing about it is, we have a "high" salary but our way of living is costly. We are car dependent. We have taxes and fees on everything but get nothing in return like Europeans and other countries' people get. Healthcare is extremely expensive.

The difference about my girlfriend's country is that although their salary is much lower, they can obtain nice, easy lifestyles that are healthier and less kiked. It amazes me when I hear about how she basically goes out to eat 3 or 4 times a week. When I was there, everyone was young, skinny, attractive, healthy. There were many young couples, some with babies. If they are old, many are in far better shape than even middle-aged Americans.

I literally have never had that kind of lifestyle, my life has been delegated to my yard and my room, because of systemic and regional factors and my mother being a helicopter parent. Not until now. My girlfriend is the best thing that has ever happened to me unironically. Otherwise, I would know my doom right now if I had never met her:

>Rotting on here and Shitcord for 12 hours per day hoping to find girlfriend (never succeeding. I had been trying to get a girlfriend for 4 years before meeting her; there are no young women around here unless they are fat.)

My dead parents’ property had to be sold in a down market. Then we find the foundation was fucked, so shave the remediation cost off of the sale. Had to pay parents’ debt then spilt the remainder with siblings.
Overall, I am in a much worse financial position than both grandparent set and my parents, without the hope of “working hard to get out of poverty.”

It doesn't matter who you vote for, both parties are in total agreement about "Big Australia," because our mutt masters and their kike masters ordained it so as part of their geopolitical strategy in this region, and anyone who doesn't do exactly they say is just immediately removed and replaced by a sycophant who will. Negative gearing is just one economic incentive to enable this process. Try to understand, you will never get any traction on whining about house prices without fully comprehending that what you are butting your head against is the full power and coercion of zog and their plan to ethnically replace us while making the spreadsheet population number go up because they believe this makes us a more relevant power in the area so more effectively extending their kike claw over Asia. If you want cheap houses, what you're actually talking about is an actual violent and ideologically antisemitic revolution resulting in the imprisonment or execution of every kike and politician in the country, the capture and deportation of mutts from their bases in the country, and breaking our existing pacts with muttmerica, which would invite their wrath and have severe consequences for our trade especially if China uses the opportunity to move us into their sphere by controlling our shipping lanes. That is why you will never afford a house, and why neither party is even pretending to want to solve the problem.

Retarded. I ate 10 cent/pack ramen noodles for an entire year as a kid, crazy they're damn near a whole dollar per pack now but there are alternatives. So what if shit doesn't taste good by itself, adversity promotes creativity in the absence of handouts. All you faggots crying about "struggle" have no idea what to do when hard times come because you have no prior experience with it, that's the issue. Stop thinking in terms of convenience.

>30k is poverty anywhere.

Not in my shithole and that's why I will come happily and work there. Your failure to be satisfied with the little you have at hand and then work to gain more is your cause of misfortunes. The mean jew knows this and will happily invite me to work for that 30K you despise because a business man does not really care how or where the work is done. He only cares about profits. Imagine leaving countryside life insearch of a better NY life. But in your pumpkin head you do not think what the jew sees. Increases population->increased need for resources->increases value of the scarce resource. Now I can guarantee you things will continue to go downhill.

if you ate ramen noodles for 1 year you would die of starvation. they have zero calories for the amount of food it is. in 1 pack of ramen there is equivalent to a quarter of an egg, a cup of salt, a jug of flour, and a pint of water. very nutritious….

>Remember when $50,000 was a GOOD income?

$50K AUD is less than €28K a year! You need to have more money than that annually just to get a visa to some shithole like Thailand. And yet you think you can support a family of four on that amount somewhere in the West!

We ate cheap and I had a father that sent all his money to other women, so yeah needless to say it sucked but I'm still here.
