My property taxes went from $3000 in 2010 to $10,000 in 2025. That means I pay over $800 a month in rent to "own" my home.

That’s fucking insane, anon. How does your government even justify this? My municipal government just did something similar, they increased residential dwelling taxes by 8% while lowering property taxes for industrial/business properties. Fucking corrupt, pocket lining cunts.

Your county makes up the numbers to charge you whatever in property taxes.

At least don’t lie to yourself and say you own your home or car. Lease from now on. Sell the house in a few years once the interests rates go down. Put the sale proceeds in bitcoin, lease and rent for the rest of your life.
