The draft is too risky. In a long-term war, If something goes wrong, armed soldiers will refuse to obey orders and, in the worst case, defect to anti-government forces. Also, people in their home countries don't care if other shitskins die, but they do care if their own children die in vain. Slavs may be a somewhat special case in modern times, but they too will eventually grow tired of BS.
Historically, when they truly grow tired and abandon the ruling class, something utterly disastrous always occurs.
