True. I'll go ahead and get the RIP Scott Hall out of the way. Did you see the Hannibal shoot with Al Snow? He basically confirms that pretty much all of media is pro wrestling, politics included. Then when he was pressed on it, he backed off a bit, like he was covering his ass. Everything we see is carefully curated and constructed. And those celebrities, politicians, etc. that don't play their role get destroyed.

As someone who follows politics and wrestling pretty closely, the similarities (both in what goes on as well as the personalities that follow them and the reactions they pull out of people) are fascinating.

The funny thing is that Trump is just flat out better at the process than everyone else. Taking it back to the pro wrestling analogy, liked and disliked doesn't work. If every single person either loves or hates you, that's the true mark of an icon. There is practically no one who is middle-of-the-road with him. Does it make a good President? I don't know, but it sure as hell cements a legacy. He has dominated nearly every headline every single day for over a decade. It's truly incredible what he has crafted.
