>The last shah of Iran, Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi, held a press conference in Paris on Monday, calling for regime change in Iran and announcing that he would be forming an opposition front.
>He directly addressed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, saying, โStep down, and if you do, you will receive a fair trial and the due process of the law, which is more than you have ever given any Iranian.โ
>Pahlavi then announced that he would be forming a channel for those who are dissatisfied with the current Iranian regime.
>The purpose of this channel is to reach out and help expand the growing network of anti-regime activists, he said.
>โFor those patriotic members of our armed forces, the time to join the nation is now,โ Pahlavi continued.
>โIf you do, I will make sure that your service to Iran is not forgotten and is celebrated.โ
The crown prince has zero legitimacy. His "dynasty" started with his grandfather, a peasant who seized power in a coup. He has no real aristocratic blood in his veins. His grandfather was overthrown by the US for being too nice to Hitler, and his father was only permitted by the US to take the throne after pledging to cuck out to them forever. A promise which he kept, as an out of touch authoritarian leader who forced western "reforms" onto a people who never wanted them while spending his nation's treasury on lavish parties for other world leaders. He was overthrown in the Iranian Revolution and the entire country hates him. If the current Iranian regime were to fall, putting the Pahlavi's back in power is the WORST possible move.
>>508483543 (OP)How? Most of the Shah fags don't even live in Iran, and all of this shit seems like it just strengthened the Ayatollah--the opposite of what was supposed to happen.
>>508487283Useful if western countries want to suggest that it's not bad regime change if the country itself wants it. There's no real nuance required to sell that to normies.
>>508487743Future narrative if the kikes can sell it. They probably can.

>Deleted>Everything here that mentions the government is a primary source from the transitional government itself, or a related Iranian diaspora organization. There are no secondary sources for things besides statements from Pahlavi. >I also want to note that a single news article (from a secondary source) that elaborates on what the transition government actually is would likely at least establish it exists, its just that everything listed so far either is a primary source or a news article of Pahlavi saying that he has a "transition plan" which is distinct from the fully fledged organization described in this article.
>>508487990Why would Iran want the Pahlavis back? They were a disaster.
