Hitler ranted how the Polish high command was in the way of forming a mutual agreement with Poland to the detriment of it's citizens then proceeded to genocide the Polish populace for the next 6 years of the war. Poles were slaughtered like cattle while in places like France where there was just as much disdain towards the Reich, it's citizens were treated relatively humanely in comparison. Hitler wanted to kill us irregardless of what side we chose to cooperate with, it's really that simple.

Hitler wanted eastern Lebensraum, mostly in Russia, and Poland was in the way, so Poland would have been invaded anyway.
Hitler's entire goal was Lebensraum in Russia. The western front was totally incidental and he only fought France, Britain etc. because they declared war and he had to.
Were it just up to Hitler, there would only have ever been an invasion and conquest in the east.
