Where do you get this bullshit? Iran routinely says it wants to destroy the US and destroy Israel. It has said so for years. If you want to take the imbecilic liberal position of saying 'they don't mean it' then that's your fault, no one else with a functioning brain takes that position. When someone tells you they want to kill you you should take them seriously.

Further, 'calling for peace' doesn't mean they actually want peace. It's called 'lying'.
Iran spent years complaining about Trump scrapping the Obama deal, then when Trump gave them a 60 day deadline to recreate one, which cost him a lot of political capital, they dragged their feet because they had no intention of making a deal.
Day 61 was when Israel struck them

All through the 60 day deadline they were enriching Uranium, 408kg at 60% by the end of that deadline.
Those 60 days were a golden opportunity that they will never have again, they didn't make a deal for one reason, they want a nuke. They had no intention of taking a deal from Trump.
