All dairy has significant health benefits. It's an excellent source of protein, of a number of vitamins, and of electrolytes. Cheese is dairy in a more shelf stable form. Some of it is even aged enough that there's no lactose in it, so even *you* shouldn't be shitting your guts out every meal.
