>They're doing the jobs Americans don't want to do!
Let's put it to the test then.
Make a public job listing looking for legal American workers wanting to pick veggies for minimum wage.
I bet you will have hundreds of applicants within a week.
>Nooooo!!!!

Anyway. We all know the real reason is they don't want to pay minimum wage.
How do we fix the immigration crisis? It's easy.
Death penalty to anyone who profits off of slave labor, and use ICE to round up the business owners running the modern day plantations.
When the millions of illegal immigrants can't find work to feed themselves, they will leave the country voluntarily.

Is the amount of time realistic? Like if some high school kid trained for a summer just for that task, could they do it?
If not, then it's a bullshit job listing. They don't want people to apply and are asking for impossible qualifications to justify hiring slaves.

We got paid above minimum wage but there's no unions and we didn't mind getting squeezed more because we knew it was temporary, real americans won't do the jobs because physically it's not possible for long runs and they most people don't work the entire shift. You cannot get distracted in farm labor.

it's a known fact that nobody who doesn't grow up working in agriculture transitions to work in agriculture. it just doesn't happen at any kind of scale. agriculture fucking sucks, nobody wants to do it, and the only people who do it are the ones who are broken to it early and who never leave.

go and look up the statistics if you want, but nobody ever changes job to GO to agriculture. only to leave.

"Painful and grueling" jobs Americans already willingly do regularly:

>garbagemen
>sewer and sanitation
>construction
>Heavy industry and factory labor
>coal mining/mineral mining
>military manufacturing
>welding
>landscaping

The difference between and American and brownoid from the global south is:
>tap water is drinkable

That alone is enough to make these "people" flood our border.

I farm, and you're not getting Americans do pick anything. We even offered better wages and some benefits. They won't do it.
The first time the temps reach 90+ degrees, they're off and never seen again. We would have to pay a huge wage to get them work (and even then they won't last long) and your food would cost 10x more. You think we get rich off farming, no. After paying for seed, fertilizer, water for irrigation, insurance, loan payments ok equipment, maintenance, so on and on, there isn't a lot left over. Not to mention if a crop fails , were completely fucked.

Today, an 8lb bag of 13 oranges from Walmart costs $7.64.
In 1958, a bag of a dozen oranges was $0.76, which when adjusted for inflation is $8.45 in 2025 dollars.
That's less than a dollar difference.

If you go out to those orchard jobs there are no bathrooms, sinks, soap, and wild animals wandering about, including bears. You'll be around older men who will run you over with a tractor, ATV, or maybe you'll have a stack of bins crush you because Juan sucks at operating forklifts. no one voluntarily wants to do farm labor, its monotonous, painful, and has to be done in the sweltering heat.
anyone that has full control over the product of their agriculture labor makes enough food for themselves and maybe a little to bring to market, aka subsistence farming. civilization needs more than subsistence farming and so every civilization has to force people to work the fields.
slavery
serfdom
and the modern version, the pseudo second class citizens that are illegals.
give any illegal the option to work in an air conditioned office and they would, its a job you take when you have no other options. no one will voluntarily work farm labor for a wage that would be profitable.
every civilization is forced with this problem. seeing people's solution here is just as laughable as communists who think they'll be poets after the socialist revolution and someone else will be working hard farm labor on the commune. in the whites only utopia I'll be a based shitposter, some other white will be picking my food on a 100 degree june day.

A small percentage of them perform labor but growing numbers just show up here, immediately get free lodging, shit out 20 kids and get then they all get free food, healthcare, education, cash stipends, etc etc while contributing absolutely nothing in return. The pay sucks because of too many illegals. The land is too expensive to start your own farm. No one wants to be a migrant worker living in a RV and moving every month or two to follow the harvests. Illegals do it because they can work for a decade then go back home and have a good life.

Anyone can be a fruit picker and do work gathering crops on farms. You get paid more if you know how to work some of the machinery. If you want less illegal immigrants in agriculture, you are going to have to clock in at the farm.

However, there are Americans who actually want to work in the American tech industry and they have the skills for it. But pigeon CEOs like Elon Musk keep firing American tech workers and replacing those American with foreign pajeets from India because pajeets are willing to code and program for lower wages and at longer hours even though their code can sometimes be pretty bad.

They donโ€™t pay minimum wage. They hire them as gig workers that pay by the flat or the bushel, which means, unless you hump ass all day long you arenโ€™t coming close to minimum wage.

What year did that stop?
My dad picked strawberries in the summer when he was in high school, and said it was a common job for teens. By the time I was in high school (mid-2000), it was already all mexicans and werent looking for americans.

You guys are in luck, Florida was working on getting rid of some child labor laws so that high schoolers can work some of the farm jobs the immigrants used to do. Maybe your state can do the same thing and get high school kids doing the farm jobs if the immigrants, illegal and legal, don't want to do them.

people arent on welfare because they dont want jobs, they are on welfare because they cant find jobs (or the jobs are so shit they still qualify for welfare).
cut welfare and use it to make a government agency that guarantees citizens jobs if they want one.

There are some farms in San Diego, California where you pay the farmers to pick strawberries. Went with some relatives to do just that, paid money to pick strawberries. They gave us a bucket and we could pick enough strawberries to fill the bucket. They even had those port-o-potties or portable toilet shack things at the edges of the farm field with running water to wash your hands.

$35 for a full bin, 800lbs of apples/pears/tomatoes/..., a bad bin full of bruised fruit gets less because they turn it into juice and maybe you get fired. Nobody uses robots because they bruise/crush everything, any retard will assume shaking a tree and think picking up the stuff on the ground is how it should be done, but orchard operators don't want their fruit/trees damaged because they take years to grow back, and picky shoppers won't buy bruised items from the produce section.

Used to do that in Missouri with apples. We'd fill up a few buckets with apples for the orchard, then we'd take our bucket of apples and make pies and applesauce and whatever else we wanted.

We pretty much gave traded them labor for a discount on freshly picked apples straight off the farm. Good memories and great apples.

Look up "headstart for migrant and seasonal workers" for your state. If you're offering:
Transportation for your kids to and from school (with a tutor)
Clothes for your kids
Tutors for your kid
Food for your kids (separate from EBT)
Household appliances
Job coordination
Health-care benefits
Special loans for your ethnicity to start small business
EBT
Credit building programs

And that's just what I can remember. They're also fast tracked through those programs and there is evidence that DHS issues them SSN's for benefits they wouldn't otherwise qualify for, too. Don't pretend like the only thing the illegals get is paid under the table.

And federal law says it's illegal to hire them.
Do you really think people who employ illegals care about the law?
Who's going to report them? Not the illegal immigrants.
