I've been to this place in Florida called Gatorama where they have thousands of alligators. They all line up on the beaches and I cannot imagine any person being able to get by them. They are also very fast. I think this is good idea except alligators are tasty and Mexicans are resourceful.

Same and can confirm the airfields being abandoned. Before hurricanes, they are used for a laydown yard for workers and FEMA trailers. After the hurricane, they are used to haul debris into to be ground up. Otherwise they are just vacant properties with the tarmac and roads being over taken by mother nature.

They should put the whole facility on pylons and just have it standing in the middle of a swampy lagoon that's only accessible by boat or helicopter. No walls in the yard, which will just be two helipads on concrete pylons. Inmates are free to dive into gator-infested waters and try their luck swimming 1-2 miles to the nearest dry land. The gators themselves will be kept near the facility by regular chumming with slaughterhouse trimmings.
