I have one, great gun to shoot. Revolvers are underrated imo, and the fact you can put in a 357 self defense round or a super cheap 38spec wad cutter into it is very cool.

No, a revolver is not a good first gun. Get a Ruger RXM or MAX-9. Both are compact so you can carry pocket the. Both are cheap yet reliable.

.357 revolver is a meme and basically equates to 9mm when shot out of a barrel less than 10" or something.
Short barrel on that will be even slower. Bug muzzle flash from unburnt powder (unusable propellant) and only 6 rounds.
I know 9mm striker fires are boring af but you'll get 10 more rounds, more controlled, with pretty much the same force behind them.
Imo first gun should be a 10/22 or a 12ga.

If Paul Harrel (RIP) were still around he'd want to throttle you for that abortion of a post.
Generally speaking .357 is significantly more powerful than 9mm regardless of barrel length.

Granted there are some really powerful 9mm+p and some really crap .357 rounds out there where the difference is less significant, but my point still stands.

Super reliable and will last for ever. Hopefully my grandkids get this one. Depends on what you want it for though if we are talking about first pistol everybody needs a 9mm with double stacked capacity

Have you considered an FN reflex? It's what I replaced my old daily carry with. The advice l used to give my coworkers when they would ask for gun advice was to see if one of the local ranges rents guns and shoot the ones that fit you the best.

Ballisticsbytheinch dotty calm.
Energy chart.
357 only surpasses 9mm out of a 6" barrel. Anything smaller might as well be 9mm.

If you just want a show gun that also functions, get something ridiculous and shiny. The harder it kicks, the better. You won't be shooting it a lot anyway. Look for the word Magnum and ask for the best looking one. You can get magnum rifles too and hollow point rifle bullets as well. Jacketed soft point bullets are also great for splintering plywood targets, like hollow points. And great if you ever go on a hunt for some reason.

But on the off chance you are serious, pick one of the following calibers. 357 magnum revolver, for your magnum fix. It also shoots .38 special because 357 is a trade name, not the actual caliber. You could get a 38 special only but that will feel wimpy if your goal is to show off. 9mm and 45 ACP are also great practice calibers, like 38 special if you expect to actually need to daily carry. Long way of saying a GP 100 is a solid choice for a first gun.

Never even heard of Cor bon ammunition.
If you look at the federal loads you'll see the .357 completely outclasses 9mm in anything longer than a 2inch barrel.

Chek'd and no, not for a first gun, although they're greats as a fun/hunting sidearm down the line. You need an AR, a Glock 19 and 5k rounds of both 5.56 and 9mm before you do anything else.

Depends. If you want to go shoot at fucked fridges on public land for funsies, fair enough. Whatever.

If you want to do it right, no. Go get a couple of 22s and a big pile of ammo and learn the fundamentals. Do not skip this step or you WILL pick up bad habits that are hard to shift. Then get either a Glockalike in 9mm (go finger fuck them with your newfound competence in mind, only you'll know which one) or a reasonably barrelled AR in 5.56 (midlength or rifle gas) with a decent sight appropriate to your situation, and do it again. Then do it again with the one you didn't pick.
NOW you can buy playtime guns like revolvers.

It is rare, but Muslim women are allowed to participate in Jihad as warriors and are called Mujahidah.

No one is forcing these women to wear niqab, these women just love God that much. Most Mujahideen are men.

Why do Muslims fight Jihad? It is not out of hate, it is out of love for God. To be a Mujahid is to be someone who loves God so much you will fight and die for Him.

Start with either a single shot or bolt action. Only load one round at first, then move on to semi-auto when you get the hang of it. Use .22 to start so you learn to deal with low-recoil arms first. Later, move up to higher recoil in long rifle, then semi-auto and shotguns. Move slowly and think clearly when working with firearms, and you will be safe and have good firing sanitation. That tip alone will set you apart from the boobs at the range.
