There were some people earlier this year claiming they discovered something about black genetics that they said could win them a Nobel prize, does anyone remember anything about it? I think the gist of it was that blacks were the missing link

to be honest, if an early homo (hah, gaaaaaay) was to find itself perfectly equipped to deal with its surroundings and quickly became the top of their respective food chain in africa, there would be no need to evolve any further

other races probably needed other adaptations that came with more evolution to deal with inhospitable mountainous regions and marshy bogs, and perhaps what they lost in pure adaptation they gained in their ability to form societies and create innovations which improve survivability

which is to say, this all makes a lot of sense
