The Russians are literally destroying any help they ever had of a decent future. They're already hated around the globe, they have no hope of winning against Ukraine, they've triggered economic and demographic catastrophe in Russia and their only fix is the same as the Nazis: plunder new captured territory until it runs out. Putin knows he's dead at the moment he surrenders, but Russia can't sustain this hemorrhage of blood and treasure. Moscow is going deep in debt and alienating it's partners. It's relationship with Chinese already strained to the point of no return, and Putin may have to relinquish massive chunk of Eastern Russia back to Beijing. Nobody wants to learn Russian, nobody wants to be Russian, nobody wants to go live in Russia, and only the most desperate Africans and Indians still think of Russia as an opportunity.
