Orthodox Europe seems to be especially superstitious. Gimme examples from your life or society in general how this plays out in every day life or politics. Like do your politicians drink special potions, consult witches, do your parents hang talismans on your neck and other such shit.

The Evil Eye is a metaphor for a look of jealousy or malice. I believe it is real. Look at social media, lot of things you would not want to post online.

Our politicians have this ritual they believe will change reality. They sit in a room, take turns speaking according to some rituals, and then either press a button or speak out loud. In their delusions they believe they made an agreement between two individuals of the same sex a marriage.
