>Classical music? Bores me to death. Let me tell you something Joe Rogan. I swear to God. We're driving in the goddamn Mojave Desert, sweatin’ my balls off, we’re switchin’ CDs, and this knucklehead hands me some classical album! Says, ‘Oh, you gotta hear this!’ I’m like, Gave it a shot, Joe, like okay, I'll give it a chance, I swear to Christ, I almost threw that disc out the window. This guy’s I didn't make him eat the fuckin' thing.

>Look if I’m having espresso in some cafe or in an elevator, fine, play that in the background, whatever, that's nice, I get it it has its place, a lot of skill involved, I get that. But on the goddamn freeway? No. You want some ZZ Top. ZZ fuckin' Top. Sharp Dressed Man Joe Rogan. Sharp Dressed Man comes on, Gimme all your Lovin comes on, and your foot goes to the floor. Mozart ain't doing that.

very little in classical music matches for me the ecstatic abandon of Night on Bald Mountain. and the animation in that segment is w/o exaggeration some of best in the history of the genre

That was always my favorite part. Mussorgsky was a genius.
And before anybody tries it, most of the refinements Rimsky-Korsakov gets credit and blame for come from Mussorgsky's own revisions.
