I decided to get some Taco Bell for the first time in like 15 years. I assumed the prices had went up like every other food joint, but boy was I shocked to hear how much it was for 1 burrito and 1 crunchwrap. it was like $17 after tax if I remember correctly. That's insane considering it's the lowest tier of fast food. Taco Bell was known as the broke peoples' place of choice back in the day. you can literally eat at a legit mexican restaurant for the same price and get more/better food. How they even stay in business is beyond me. the drive-thru line used to be busy at all times, but now it's always dead. you might as well just get chick-fil-a at these prices the "cheap" fast food joints charge now. btw, the Taco Bell tasted like SHIT, just like I remembered. kek

but then one day, their drive thru had an AI voice, and i was like, never again. legitimately.

last i checked kfc had a special online deal 10 bucks for 8 pieces of chicken, that may have been temporary but my point is you never buy their regular prices you watch out for a special online deal or new promotion, any family that buys a regular bucket doesn't care about the value of their money

i wont dare go there since they got rid of my shredded chicken quesadilla and replaced it with a flatbread version, this was an item under 3 bucks and I'd buy like 2 of them with tax 7 bucks whatever. after my buddy suggested I try asking to swap the flatbread for a tortilla I sent my gf and she managed to get them to replace the flatbread with a tortilla and not only that they stacked it full of the chipotle sauce and chicken, first time I was stoked to be eating taco bell in years, flashforward to last week and i'm there after work the only person in line and after I ask to swap the tortilla in one of those soft barely english mexi voices I hear

show me one time a new policy has immediately changed prices for the better within less than half a year, if prices did go down it wouldn't happen for a year at best, in reality best case scenario they slow down the inflation, i could've told anyone back in january or before that the tariffs were by design going to make most prices higher, thats how tariffs work

I just ate some fried chicken. The breasts were juicy, and the buns were soft and warm.
