Trump is signaling he's just going to deny that Iran is working on a nuke and ignore intelligence reports to the contrary, like he did previously, but for the neocons. Now the neocons can't say shit, because if they try and push Trump to attack Iran again, he will just accuse them of contradicting that he totally obliterated the nuclear program in June and will do the Thomas Massie routine.
Its a checkmate. Trump boxed out the neocons by appearing to give them what they wanted. He also made sure to criticize Israel in the media, so that he can blame future Middle Eastern conflict on them if it happens. Trump can now ignore the Middle East entirely until midterms are done.
