The first example is just your lack of historical knowledge being tortured though. The Americas were vast empty land. When Jacque Cartier charted the Americas it took him 3 months before he even ran into any Natives and he was on an exploratory journey. Unless you believe that Natives have a manifest destiny and the entirety of the Americas belongs to them. Keep in mind in the 1400s the population of the entirety of Canada and the Northern US was about 500,000 - 1.5 million (just the indigenous) do you have any idea how much land that is? That would be about 2000 acres per indigenous person lmao.
