in our society people who work hard and actually do something for society are considered "less" and are paid very little

some shitty office job where u spend all day reading emails and playing on your phone pays double than a job where you have to build houses and infrastructure or keep the streets clean, which is extremely unfair

this society rewards useless diplomas and paper more than it values something that actually matters, our economical system is fucking broken and I respect people who don't partake in it, even though i have a job, i do the absolute bare minimum

Not necessarily NEET. I'm 32 but I have a lot of friends who are between 26 and 32 and yeah, I lot of them don't work, but they don't leech off of government gibs either. A few make money from crypto, one does various online gigs like video editing for various TikTok and IG personas, one is a streamer (you actually don't need all that many viewers in order to make money, even 300 regular viewers can cover a lot of your expenses), another one does whatever pays money - he will mow your lawn, fix your car, fix your PC, install a security system in your house, whatever, you pay him in cash or crypto. None of them can imagine themselves in an office, they will just say "40 hours a week in an adult kindergarten AND I get to pay taxes to pedophiles? Wow, sounds like a great deal."

Then in the 60s the west got our vultural revolution. Now boomers get married and divorced married and divorced married and divorced and have kids with whoever and end up with some man or woman that they did not have kids with because they are too old when the finally found "the love of their lives". Most jobs are service economy. Out of that office jobs are predominant. So, when you get employed you’d probably are going to work in an office. Those jobs are a massive time sink generating next to nothing. Circulating e-mails, data entry, drafting memos, and other bullshit will fill most of your day. Most of the work can be probably crammed in 20-30% of your day leaving the rest empty. Yet - you are required to show up, engage in office politics and play the corporate game. All in all - demoralising as fuck.
No wonder people are disillusioned with labour.
