Why bother with nukes at all when Sarin or VX is relatively easy to make? If they want a deterrent to stop Israel from attacking them, saying you have 100,000 rockets loaded with sarin is just as a good as nukes.

Whether nukes exist or not is debateable. It's probaby more reasonable that they don't. But you are RIGHT about it being theater. They are just whining hysterical about nukes to goad people into action. What they're really worried about is Iran's missile program. Iran has good industrial capacity and can crank those puppies out in the thousands.
