The amount of evidence that humans share common ancestry with the ape kingdom is overwhelming if you care to search it out.

That being said, it's not a proof because the universe is far stranger than we could have imagined and it's probably a simulation and if that's the case it means there's a moderate probability that "This Universe" didn't start 16 billion years ago, it's younger than that, substantially younger according to the interests of the one thing that is out-of-place in the simulation, the illusion of existence looking at it.

And so if that's the case, there's a hard-start equation where if the simulation made it to look old, complete with evolution, (cloned files from a previous universe, where that evolution really did happen) which means your universe blipped on everyhing prior to Egypt.

So if that's the case, then you have to go to a different physics engine to argue continunity, and if you accept all that, then it means you not only share a common ancestor with apes, you share a common ancestor with the process that creates universes to achieve ends.

Which is trippy.
