>>508699903 (OP)Most pickup truck drivers are spiritual niggers, even if not literal ones. A pickup truck is ostensibly a work vehicle. Yet nowadays, 95% of pickup trucks you see on the road are overpriced, oversized grocery getters with terrible driving dynamics and are in pristine condition, having never seen a day of real work. The bed lining has not a single scratch on it, since it was, at best, used to fetch a couple of 1.5 cubic foot bags of potting mix from Home Depot - something I've done regularly in my Audi RS6 sedan. These trucks have never towed a single thing - the owner likely doesn't even know how to hook his hitch up to a trailer.
People go into massive, crushing debt to buy pickup trucks so they could look tough, instead of getting a practical vehicle that actually suits their lifestyle.
For the few occasions I've actually needed a pickup truck, I've either:
1) Paid someone with a pickup truck do the job for me
2) Rented a pickup truck from Uhaul for the day for ~$50
Its not hard to do this. If you aren't a retard, you likely have a few contractor/handyman types in your phone that you could call when you need a job done and not have to actually own a pickup truck yourself. And pickup trucks aren't that good for many heavy duty tasks anyway. I own a manufacturing facility and have had to move several pieces of heavy industrial equipment. I simply call an LTL freight provider who shows up, loads whatever I need unto a flatbed or trailer with a lifegate, and its on its way. I pay $500-1k for this and have everything insured so I dont risk damaging a $200k machine by being a retarded dunce doing everything himself and hald assed, or potentially injuring myself in the process.
