It's bad because it's the ultimate vehicle for propaganda and brainrot. When you goon you *literally* turn off the rational part of your frontal lobe. Not only that, but it's a supernormal stimulus that piggybacks off of the human tendency to learn by seeing and imitating. It has real-world effects because people DO imitate media. That is the purpose of mass media.
The effects are hard to put a finger on since, hey, how would you even get that data? But experientially, it is true. Porn made blowjobs mainstream and expected instead of deviant and something only bad girls did. Porn got women to start shaving their pussies bare even as girls who weren't even sexually active yet. Because that's what a pussy looks like if you see 500 pussies like that before you ever see a real one. Porn sites get people into some INSANE shit because they saw it in porn and want to imitate it. Yeah, people were deviant already, but porn was and is the vehicle for mainstreaming it.
And no, it obviously isn't all bad, but the people in charge of the biggest outlets are OBVIOUSLY geared towards getting people into the most destructive shit. It's why they push incest on the front page.

My life improved quite a bit since I stopped watching porn. And I didn't even consume all that much, like once a day or so for a quick fap. Been years now. Helped motivate me to get a gf and banging a girl turns out to be so much better than watching porn as it's, shockingly, actually real.

It’s just yet another thing young “educated” people think is natural that is absolutely not natural at all. Porn chips away at the intimacy you feel from healthy sexual activity with a partner you are pair bonding with and intending to have kids with. There are no terrible consequences. But it is not the path towards the healthiest and happiest life. And we want our society to support people doing what will make them happy and healthy. It’s like saying “what’s wrong with fast food in moderation”. Nothing immediate. But it’s certainly not good, and should not be condoned. I don’t feed my child fast food, ever. And for that same reason I will not want him watching porn.

Your post is true discussing porn in a vacuum. Erotic content could hypothetically exist in a state where it isn't an overt vehicle for brainwashing, and it would simply be a vice in that scenario.
