I am high or could a social credit score system be a good thing?
a note:
The score will not be used to punish anyone it will only be used to reward.
Goal:
The goal is simply to reward people for being good citizens. You ever see people who say things like "I work my ass off and this is all I get" or "If society doesn't reward me for being a good person why should I be" this is my answer to them.
How it would work:
Every year your score is changed based on your action from the last year. This is purely voluntary though and if you don't submit any papers your score will be listed as 0. Things that would raise your score: Church service, private business ownership, hours worked, children had (unless you're brown), charitable donations, and volunteering. In order for any of that to count you have to submit a signed paper from someone higher up than for whatever task you are wishing to prove.
Bonuses/prizes for higher scorers:
The legal ability to buy things like non-legal drugs, cigs, or strong alcohol in a society that has made those things illegal. Lower interest rates on loans. The ability to run for political offices. Money rewards. Less harsh treatment if you or a dependent of yours committed a low level crime. There would probably be other rewards, but those are the ones that come to the top of my head.
