Abbot veto'd the ban on hemp and hemp derived thc in Texas. Florida has as well. Feels good man. Meanwhile, you've got more backwards state like Arkansas, Tennessee, Alabama, and Mississippi shooting themselves in the foot. They could stand to learn a thing or two from the big boys.
He vetoes but they apparently have something on a special docket for JULY which... is in a week or 2. They are still probably going to do some regulation and to be an adult, there probably should be some.
I get the impression that it's the wild wild west w\ this stuff and there's probably been thousands of CBD shops opened in the last few years around texas. You can't go through an intersection without there being one, 2, 3 or 4 of them. And they sell what is effectively "weed".
Some of the vapes don't even have childproofing, you just put it in your mouth and suck, pause. They should just stop pussyfooting around this and legalize federally.
Texas is cucked though. Anti BDS laws, prostitution is not only illegal but it's a felony to solicit...

The only two proposed regulations that I don't agree with in Abbot's proclamation were a cap on how much you can buy, and now allowing sales on Sunday. We don't forbid people from buying over a certain amount of alcohol which is much more harmful. Let adults make their own informed choices.
