>>508735739Yea that's the thing. We don't really know how the brain actually work in animals, let alone in humans. So far we are sure that the brain is the soft organ inside the head but apparently now the spine is also considered part of the brain. Also now people are debating that neuron nodes in the muscles can also be part of the brain rather than just being a part of the nervous system. And if this is the case, we have to question if one's existence, be it as simple of that of an animal, can extend past your head and also be spread through the body.
Perhaps that would explain phantom pains and shit.
Also there is a completely different argument that the brain actually work faster than we know and it can detect the blade cutting the flesh but the body is to slow to react, and thus the body is then stuck in the last successful message the brain managed to send.
