That sounds about right. I like some of the 2 parters, even if their metaphor is a bit eye-rolling.
But it's definitely not great for daily watching. Worked better in 2005 when they were spaced out a week apart.

I agree. Standalone episodes are key for building characters. Send them on a random adventure and let them interact. The "arc" is usually too weak and plot-driven to sustain 10 or more hours of show.
Severance (both seasons) suffered badly from no standalone eps.
