They will find a way to do it, an it will happen very soon. Israel cannot backdown now that they have 3 USS Carrier strike groups and 100 warplanes, refuelers and havey ordinance/explosive available in the region. The reason why its not just optics is because before all this started the US navy already had 2 carrier strike groups in the region as a deterrent. But now US forces are on highest alert for immediate greenlight against striking Iran.
It is disturbing how quiet social media is about it, because they quite obviously have forgotten the last 2 decades of US lead war in the region.
