Often the demand to pay taxes comes from a place of moral superiority. This is misplaced imo.
Let's discuss the morality of paying taxes to a hypothetical state that works against its citizens and is engaged in immoral acts like wars and genocides.
By evading taxes you
>deny resources to the immoral state actor
>reduce economic activity to its purest form, a trade of goods and services

Taxes are used for control and to keep you on the hamster wheel. They can just print whatever money they need.

printing money doesn't create value. it's is effectively like a tax. it siphons off purchasing power from anybody who holds cash.
money is just an intermediary. the core of the economy is the production and the trade of goods and services.
by taxing or printing money they can buy goods and services without having produced any to trade them for.

Some countries have people who trust their governments to be good stewards of their tax dollars. For them, it's not hard to justify paying taxes. In America, where 20% of the taxpayers pay 80% of the taxes and 80% of the population votes on what the other 20% pay, politicians can get away with grift.
Taxes that aren't applied evenly aren't felt evenly, so the retarded masses are okay with the government wasting the tax revenue of the rich.

It is every good and moral man's right and obligation to evade as much tax as is possible. Taxation is robbery.
