Democratic nomination is an automatic win.
His opposition is fractured between Rep. Sliwa and Independent Adams. NYC is a blue city, dem moderates wont vote for a republican, at best some might vote for Adams. The only way for mamdani to lose is if Sliwa endorses Adamns and Republicans vote for Adams. But that's not very likely.
Last time an independent candidate won was 2009, and before that 1933.
