The role of NPCs is simply to drain you of energy. One of the main ways they do this is by arguing. They are programmed to argue. The only time you don't see them arguing is when they are obedient to an authority figure that they recognize as having power and authority.
Also, notice how the news cycle keeps moving forward, with one new distraction after another. Each "happening" gets forgotten within 1-2 weeks. The NPCs react to it as the current thing, and then they move on.
Some examples:
>Remember DOGE and layoffs of federal workers? the NPC fed workers were panicking as if it was the end of the world, there was news of them selling their houses near DC, they were bitching and yet look, they just got new jobs easily.
>Remember the Trump Tarrifs?
>Remember the anti-ICE riots in LA?
>Remember pro-palestine protests, Gaza?
We live in a highly scripted reality, to the point where it does seem like a simulation. it doesn't have to be a literal sim made of pixels, but obviously there is a direct impact between info, your mind, the world, and how you see the world.
Point is, ignore NPCs, avoid them. Go enjoy life. It's summer.
