They likely would've failed that target too if not for Trump winning the election. Even with the "boost" they're not hitting recruitment numbers they need. The new recruitment goal is part of a drastic down-sizing the military is doing. You might've heard about a whole slew of general ranks that were cut, that was a result of reorganization of the military try and slim down the necessary headcount and make do with less personnel.

This. I knew of some people who wanted to join because Trump was in office and it fell apart once they realized how fucked the positions are. Nobody wants to be ground support equipment or a crew chief getting sprayed with cancer fluid. The list for medical/admin and other good jobs are way too long. And even if you sign for a medical job, get it and are about to graduate basic, - Uncle Sam tells you you would be a better fit as a pest control man instead. It was full and it was a mix of young and old and the smell I can only describe as a war crime that will haunt my waking nightmares until my last breath. I had been plumbing track homes for a while by then and thought I had seen it all, but this was like the cauldron of shit that the kike think satan is boiling Jesus in brought to life. By the way never by a track home the spicks use everything as a toilet. I was the low man on the totem pole so usually it was my job to clean out the bath tubs. I had grown a certain tolerance for this sort of thing. But this was different. It cleared the house there was an almost instantaneous what the fuck is that smell? I couldn't speak without throwing up. Everyone evacuated and I staggered out as best I could. The stink was in my eyes and I was pretty sure I could hear it. I literally tumbled down the stares and crawled out it had destroyed my equilibrium. I emerged out of the house of stink like Andy escaping Shawshank and threw up everything that was in me into the chrysanthemums and woodchips. They've been us..ing the upstairs... toilet. It's full. I got my cleanout kit form my car (I was too poor for a truck) And went to face my destiny. The goggles do nothing it's back in my eyes the respirator also did fuck all to help. I had to check to make sure that the angle stop was of or else that house would have to be burned down when satans cauldron overflowed. It's under and behind the toilet. I had to put my face right next to "it" to check. I staggered to the stairwell and gave the thumbs up. Hit the water my foreman relayed to one of the other guy on the side job? I heard the house pressurize and too a painters stick out of my cleanout bucket and began scooping slices of it into a double trash bag like Arthur trying to slay a dragon made out of shit. I had to clear the bell siphon before turning on the water or I was going to be wearing half of this unholy abomination. I lifted the tank lid when I had enough room to plunge and jimmied the float valve open. Then I cranked the valve just a crack. I needed water for the plunger to work. And for the next 20 minutes we did battle until finally it flushed, but the stink remained. The had to put ozone generators in the whole house for a week before anyone could go back in it without gaging. And after all that the lady gypt us on pay. my for man did a night op and shot borefoam down the sewer main. And that was the worst shit I have ever seen.
