If you use brave it blocks youtube ads on phone.
If you switch to desktop mode you can start a video, turn your screen off, and then hit play again to continue it on phone.
Them making it auto pause a video when you turn your screen off unless you're using premium was one of the most jewish things that I had personally encountered at the time.
