Cyber attacks, much of industry is still pretty soft. Deliver pathogens to farms, perhaps contaminate a fertilizer shipment or ten.
Guys on the ground with small arms can do a lot of damage to soft targets too -- pretty much anywhere with lots of kids and no rich people is a free fire zone in most of the US.
Won't work on the fourth, but on a busy travel day a suicide bomb (or chem, biological -- hell even just a fake chem/bio attack would cause panic) in TSA lines would be effective, and anything the government does to respond would just make the next attack worse.
If you can get hold of some industrial radiation sources (eg for sterlization) you could pretty easily hide them in a concrete cylinder made in a cement truck. Pack that with explosives and you have a dirty bomb that won't glow much above background externally. Detonate somewhere crowded and you could create enough widespread radiation sickness to really induce some panic.
There really are a large number of ways you can fuck with our society. That's the problem -- to defend you have to think of and guard against every possible attack. To attack you just have to be creative and do one novel thing once.
And that's today. Soon we will have self driving cars. About 20 minutes after that we'll have self driving car bombs -- aka democratized cruise missiles.
We'd really be a lot better off if we simply refrained from poking the bear. It's not like it's gaining us anything. They don't really hate our freedoms, they just hate Israel.
