The memory fracturing thing is real it would seem. Notice how boomers have been through all of this before, right down to ju media rhetoric and turns of phrase.

The elder generations can tell us how things used to be, but despite living through the last century none can tell us how things came to be the way they are. Control of media broadcasting and k-12 education seems to be the avenues by which this memory fracturing technique is is applied.
