One of my kin once wrote a really good post about what happened with Sweden when they stopped conscription and recently started it again. It's not going well. You can't just abolish military traditions and then pick em up randomly when you want your retarded citizens to go die for Israel. Or, you can, but the results won't be what you are hoping for.
