Israeli police just uncovered a massive scam involving Ukrainians posing as "IDF" personal on an "emergency secret mission" (Shh! Don't talk about this) to raise funds over the phone to "replenish the Iron Dome" that had dupes in Israel transfer money to banks while recruiting their patriotic friends and families to do likewise (Shh! Don't talk about this, but DO try to get as many friends and relatives as you can to also give us money right away because it's an emergency). Initial estimates claim $80 million but authorities suspect the numbers may be much larger due to embarrassment about admitting to being duped. The bank transfers were traced to banks in the Ukraine, linked to accounts that have already been drained.

How did this happen /pol? Aren't Jews supposed to be really shrewd when it comes to money matters?

Also, how did the Ukrainians speak fluent Hebrew in order to make the Israelis drop their guard and hand over their money so quickly?
