I think it's only been recently we've had more people leaving than coming in, but holy fuck the damage has been done. It's only been downhill for over a decade now, and the last 3 years were a real death spiral. Housing, healthcare, the job market, it's all pretty fucked. Rapid expansions and a steady increase of crime and homelessness too. My family has lived here for multiple generations and for the 30+ years I've lived here, it's depressing to see how quickly it's been falling apart in the last decade.
