So I'm rereading Orwell's book 1984 and it’s hitting differently this time.
Back then it was big brother, now it's a culture that tells young white men they’re either dangerous, invisible or unwanted. So what happens? They retreat. Porn, camgirls, AI waifus, maybe a prostitute now and then if you've got the cash for it.
Is paying for sex the new rebellion? Is that degenerate, or is it the last honest act in a society built on sexual lies?

And so paying for sex isn't the new rebellion since that would remove men's motivation or desire. Following a passion that you would choose over sex is. Men are controlled by sex, but if you something to get men more passionate than sex, now that would be probably dangerous. It's probably why the elites are trying to stamp out any mention of MGTOW since they have ascended into doing things without having sex as the main objective.

The world depicted in 1984 is worse than anything that currently exists -- by a long shot. Big Brother denies your love for your wife and love for your kids -- you may only love Big Brother, you may only desire Big Brother. Big Brother has total, and absolute control over your emotions.

Also, thought crime here literally means that if you merely think the wrong thing, then you are fucked.

Western society may take steps in this direction, but has miles to go if they want to reach this level of absolute control.
