I get chastised over trivial and very basic things when I'm clearly not at fault and have my facts straight, and also when I ask questions and explain things in detail. I was taught to never aim low in life and to listen and think for myself to live fruitfully. People get frustrated and confrontational when they find out I'm an educated person. Why is that? I'm patient with them but they can't be patient with me, even when I'm paying them. I thought people are supposed to reciprocate and expected to be respectful. I thought I was the one who's normal. I am a professional high achieving proud White man-it doesn't get more normal than that. Why do people have the audacity to act like shit in a first world civilization? Was everyone born after me raised wrong or what, what is everyone's fucking problem nowadays? I noticed it's mostly people slightly younger than me who are shitty, even cops today too
