It's literally all man made. We have free will. God gave us the means to end all of that, if we decide to rather kill each other and live in filth destruction war and disease, that's our problem, not gods.

People like Carlin seem to think that God is some good father that stops all evil because he is so good! No. Did he even read genesis? God gave us all of that, but we denied it, we wanted to become gods ourselves, see the truth of life and god permitted us to do so because we have free will like him. I believe that through fate and the human spirit, scientific advancement, we can stop most of the pain and suffering, and we already did. But one thing we will never be able to solve: Some people being outliers and fucking it all up for the rest of us. But thankfully, God is a good God, and told us that he will come back and deal with these vermin.
