The 14th Amendment was written because racists like you didnโ€™t want Black people to be full citizens. Now youโ€™re trying to gatekeep it?

If you're born here, you're a citizen. Period.

They should have rounded up and sent slaves back to Africa. The 14th amendment was a mistake all around.

While I agree with >>508939205 first and foremost, the 14th was written for people who were brought to the US against their will and held captive by US citizens for so many generations they had no cultural or even linguistic ties to their homeland any more and often didn't even know where their homeland was, they would find it difficult to return home.
Compare this to illegals who are invading the US against the will of US citizens to undermine the cost of their labour, send the money to their home country, refuse to learn or speak English, refuse to integrate into US culture or values, kill, rape, and steal from Americans, love their homeland so much they wave their spic flags everywhere. These people have not lost ties to their homeland, they PREFER their homeland, they are just here to pillage what they can. Sending them back is not impractical in remotely the same way.
While I think both sorts should go back, they aren't even comparable in terms of circumstances. The 14th was categorically NOT written to protect illegal invader spics and their spawn.

He's right originality would argue the 14th ammendment was written during the reconstruction era in regards to free slaves. Even living constitutionalist could argue they could've never imagined a world where millions of people from all over the world would be let into our country just to have a baby so they could stay, it's even reached the degree of birth tourism from affluent people from around the globe. There's not much legal precedent and it does say in precedent and to this day "and subject to the jurisdiction of" is still hotly contested proponents say legal jurisdiction and dissenters would argue subject Owe allegiance to the U.S. and since a newborn is incapable of this and the parents are still subjects of a foreign nation should not be citizens. I know racist PoS etc. etc.

Yeah, and if you owned a slave in 1861 if was your 4th Amendment right to do so. How did that work out?

How funny would it be if they asked the new born to receive the pledge of allegiance and if they were unable got deported with the parents? I don't think it's unreasonable for a subject of the U.S. to be able to do that.
