Russia was literally impossible to win. Blitzkrieg only worked aswell as it did due to ego and incompetency of the British/French armies aswell as all the minor nations having like 10 armoured cars and 2 crappy interwar tanks. There are written accounts of Stalin being suprised by the attack and disheartened with it. This is despite numerous warnings from Russian Military Intelligence on the upcoming attack and build up of German forces. I don't think Stalin was the kin d of leader to attack Germany. I believe he actually believed him and Hitler were Allies genuinely as seen by the previous account.
If you meant that WW2 is happening the same way just with no USSR involvement (E.G. Operation Overlord, Dragoon and Husky) I don't see why he wouldn't. It would be easy as Germany would be entirely focused on their Western and Southern fronts. I mean most expansionist nations would do so, even Germany.

By all accounts the intelligence from the UK and the USA favored a German victory, until the soviet counter attack in winter of 1941 it was pretty dominant.

Of course, it just seems like a total miscalculation, based on Russia in WW1, the winter war and the purges of 1937 the Red Army was thought very highly of. Maybe they could've won... dont know how. Lend lease capabilities were only seen as of 1942 so they'd already "lost" by the end of 1941.

total bullshit, lend lease won the war for the Soviets, and UK lend lease was arriving in 1941, but even if you take that revisionist stance, the entire USSR machine was built by America anyway, so America is still to blame for the soviet victory.
