I'll know one thing - I've worked as security for local rich men, just regular old millionaires, and they've all seen regular people as inferior and lesser. Sometimes they don't even realize it. I am 100% sure that utra-rich people see us as bugs to be stepped on. No one will ever convince me that the likes of Elon Musk, Donald Trump, Bill Gates etc actually cares about the common man. Why is it baffling that the working class would “vote against its own interest”, but in no way baffling that limousine liberals like Buffett would vote against THEIR own interests? I’m all for class warfare, but it needs to be borne of an actual critique of the existing capitalist system. People like Buffett aren’t challenging the nature of the system, they’re calling for more bread and circuses to sustain it against total revolt.
