Overplaying the Biden was a puppet angle nwould backfire. The reason they are using it at all is that doubt about whether pardons are valid let's them investigate pardoned people's crimes.
Should they find proof then these people don't escape scandal. And depending on the proof and the degree of criminality opinion might shift enough that it might be possible to have the pardons found invalid I. Court. Notice every signing by Trump is done on public video and they talk about each thing that is being signed so this cannot backfire.
